I have been a part of the Immaculate Conception community for the past 23 years. My granddaughter Maleah is an alumnus of Immaculate Conception School and is now continuing her Catholic education at Bishop Watterson. I have 30 years of experience leading non-profit support groups and have been involved in organizing spiritual retreats and days of reflection for spiritual growth of women. My parents taught me through example that for a church community to grow and thrive we have a responsibility as its members to be active and engaged. Being involved provides a sense of belonging, enriches our faith and challenges us to recognize the needs of all the community’s members. I am honored to be a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish Council and I look forward to contributing to our mission.
