Starting at this weekend’s Masses, baskets for last year’s blessed palms will be at the east and west doors of the Church and in the Gathering Space.
Because palms are blessed by a priest and are holy objects, they should be disposed of in the proper manner. Your blessed palms will be burned, and blessed ashes are used on Ash Wednesday as an outward sign of repentance.
