Additional thoughts about your I.C. community and experience:
Our IC history goes back to my mom, Mary Jo McGarity Wheeler. Her and her siblings attended IC and have been members of the parish since they were born. My parents moved to Clintonville in 1986 and we became members of the parish. Shortly after college, Kathleen and I got married and moved back to Clintonville where we started our family. Not only is a Catholic education important to us, but being a part of Immaculate Conception Parish is very important to us. We love the sense of community and belonging that the parish brings. Being able to give our time and talent to IC, just like my parents did for my sisters and me, is truly a great gift. Kathleen and myself are firm believers in paying it forward and we enjoy giving back to the parish and school. Since Kathleen and I joined the parish, Kathleen’s mother, Marilyn, has also joined IC. Being able to celebrate Mass with our extended family is important and helps instill a deeper sense of faith in our children. We look forward to many more years of being involved at IC and hope that our children follow in our footsteps wherever their life journeys take them.
