Baptized as an infant at St Joseph’s Parish in Camp Springs Kentucky. After 22 relocations over the northern great plains states, I retired in Ohio to be close to three of my four daughters and seven (of 9) grandchildren. Clintonville is now my longest residency, the runner-up being 9 years in Clinton Iowa for part of grade school (St Boniface) and high school (St Mary’s) living on base with my family at the VA Domiciliary. My father, Jack Emley, was director of voluntary services for the facility, which housed 300 veterans, an early introduction to disability, aging, and service to others. Jesuit educated at Creighton University in Omaha, 5 years in the US Air Force (Minot ND, Rapid City SD & Udorn RTAFB, Thailand). Uniting all of these threads together as an insurance claims adjuster and investigator. Currently president of the St Vincent de Paul Conference at IC. Married to Marge Cahoy, going from an Iowa family farm to one of Wisconsin’s first nurse practitioners. My goal is to strengthen the faith community.
